Reported by karen_golat@ipsd.org on 11/5/20

Dear Parents/ Guardian,
As we continue remote learning, we want to provide families with an opportunity to pick up instructional materials to support learning at each specific grade level. Our teams will be preparing materials for parent/guardian curbside pick up next week on Monday, November 9th.
This distribution will be by grade level blocks. Please see the below schedule and attached map. If you have multiple children who attend Watts, please come during the earliest possible time slot. PLEASE NOTE: PARENTS OF THIRD, FOURTH AND FIFTH GRADE TEACHERS NEED TO KNOW IF THEIR CHILD IS IN ACCELERATED OR REGULAR MATH AS THE MATERIALS ARE DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON THE CLASS THEY ARE IN.

Kindergarten
First Grade
Second Grade
12:30-2:00 PM

Third Grade

Fifth Grade

2:00-3:30 PM

Additional pick-up time for those who have a conflict with their assigned time.

Parents will need to drive to the school to maintain social distancing. If you are unable to drive to school, please contact the office as soon as possible so we can make arrangements. If you are out of town and unable to pick up your student’s supplies, please either contact another parent to pick up materials for your child or the main office to make alternative arrangements.
In the interest of safety, we ask that you follow the following procedures—
Please review the attached map for traffic flow.
Please come alone if possible.
Drivers should turn on their hazard flashers while they are in line.
Enter and follow the signs in the back of the school
Once your car has reached the designated spot, please open the trunk and/or unlock your side door. DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE. A staff member will place your child’s items in your trunk.

Sincerely,

Brian H. LeCrone
Principal
